Portwest FR89 Bizflame 88/12 FR 8.2 Cal Arc Rated CAT 2 Work Shirt

The Portwest FR89 Bizflame 88/12 FR 8.2 Cal Arc Rated CAT 2 Work Shirt is designed for use in environments where flame and electric arc hazards may be present. Constructed from lightweight 7 oz Bizflame 88/12 fabric, this garment provides certified flame-resistant and arc-rated protection suitable for industrial and utility applications. 

With an ATPV of 8.2 cal/cm², this shirt meets PPE Category 2 arc flash requirements while maintaining breathable comfort for extended wear. The fabric is designed to retain its flame-resistant properties for the life of the garment. Adjustable button cuffs, dual chest pockets, and an extended shirt tail hem support durability and practical jobsite performance. 

As with all PPE, selection should be determined by the employer’s documented hazard assessment and applicable regulatory requirements.
