The Portwest FR611 Modaflame FR 5.1 Cal Arc Rated CAT 1 ANSI Type R Class 2 Hi-Vis Mesh Vest  is designed for use in environments requiring ANSI/ISEA 107 Type R Class 2 high-visibility compliance in addition to limited arc-rated flame-resistant protection. Constructed from lightweight Modaflame FR mesh fabric, this vest supports breathability while maintaining certified performance for electrical and industrial worksites. 

With an ATPV of 5.1 cal/cm², this vest meets PPE Category 1 arc flash requirements and is designed to be worn over arc-rated garments to maintain system-level protection. Flame-resistant reflective tape enhances visibility in regulated work environments, while the mesh construction helps improve airflow during extended wear.

As with all PPE, selection should be determined by the employer’s documented hazard assessment and applicable regulatory requirements.
