This Fire Retardant hard hat pad and neck shade uses evaporative properties to keep you cool and safe when working near extreme heat.

The Chill-Its flame resistant evaporative cooling hard hat pads with neck shade, from Ergodyne, provide cooling relief, flame resistance and protection against UV. The cooling pads attach to hard hat suspension headbands and come with hook-and-loop closure that quickly fastens for easy on and easy off. It features lightweight, cooling acrylic polymers - which require only 2 to 5 minutes in water to activate. Remains hydrated for up to 4 hours; and just re-soak to reuse. Meets ASTM F2302 for flame resistance. Modacrylic cotton blend FR fabric meets ASTM F1506 performance requirements. Blue. One size.
